I imaged in the universe inside the tea bowl (Macchawan) that the limestone caves that are water traces and water gushing out of the ground.
滃溢
水がみなぎり溢れる事。
抹茶茶碗の内側の宇宙に、水の痕跡である鍾乳洞と地中に湧き出る水を表現した。

piece of history
A climbing kiln in Shigaraki more than a hundred years ago. I attempted to recreate the history and the spirit of predecessors in the fragments of the walls of this decaying kiln.
And I represent that fragment as the earth, glass as a drop of water falling on the ground.
一滴 時の断片
百数十年前の信楽の登り窯。 この朽ちた窯の壁の断片に歴史と先人の魂を再生させようと試みた。そしてその断片を大地に 例え、乾いた大地に降り注ぐ一滴の水をガラスを使って表現した。

どんなにちからずよく広い海も、
静寂に深い泉も、一滴の水から始まる。
生命にとって最も大切な水を表現した。
Aqua-Planet
I challenged myself to create a ceramic sculpture of a drop of "water," which is very important for life. Although it is a sculpture, it is also designed to be used as a vase. As an artist, I applies various glazes to the surface over and over again to express the beauty and harshness of nature, as well as the energies of "Earth", "Galaxy" and "Universe" hidden within.
Aqua-惑星
命にとって大切な「水」の一滴を造形化した陶彫作品にも挑戦した。彫刻であるが花器としても使えるように考えて作っている。その色彩は、自然の美しさや厳しさ、そしてそこに秘められた「地球」「銀河」「宇宙」のエネルギーを芸術家として、釉薬を絵画的に表面にぶつけるようにして表現した。
